| But clearly there are a lot of variables involved, number of coats, skill of powdercoater, etc etc. I dont know anything bout powdercoating but I have seen powdercoated wheels on various cars here and there and the finish certainly appears to be alot thicker than paint. Pepsi Challenge passable? Probably. But like I said, if the pricing is similar, not to mention the infinite color options of paint vs powder, why choose powdercoat? Seems like another "just because" choice.
